The cover of this month’s issue of Playboy, Sara Polverini, may seem familiar to some people, especially the ones who were kids and teens during the 90s and used to stand by the TV waiting for 4:30, until the kid Paolo Contis or whoever would shout, “4:30 na! Ang TV na!”

Oh yes, the sexy Sara Polverini was a cast of Ang TV way back in the nineties. For those who don’t know, Ang TV is sort of like the local version of the Mickey Mouse Club, with talented kids dancing, singing, and doing gags. Unfortunately for Sara Polverini and unlike her co-stars, her career didn’t flourish much after Ang TV.

However, she was also cast in the movie adaptations of two of the most well-loved children’s stories: Sarah, Ang Munting Prinsesa and Cedie, Ang Munting Prinsipe. After several acting stints, the child star was nowhere to be seen.

Until practically a hundred years later, as the cover of one of the most popular men’s magazine in the Philippines. Sara Polverini poses for Playboy like she really, really wants to get back into showbiz.
