Filipina-German model Sandra Seifert has been disqualified in Bb. Pilipinas 2009 Pageant because she posed for FHM in their October 2007 issue. If you’re curious, below are the Sandra Seifert FHM pics courtesy of FHM dot com dot ph.

This issue raises a discussion about hypocrisy. Who do you think are the hypocrites here? The pageant organizers for having a bad judge of character, letting a potentially good candidate go because of some pictures (don’t forget they let Janina San Miguel win)? Or Sandra Seifert herself for supposedly denying that she wasn’t aware that FHM is an adult magazine when she posed for it.

Personally, I don’t think Sandra Seifert’s a loss, because she’s half German anyway, and I hate Nazis! I’m kidding, of course. But eh, she’s been disqualified, no big deal. It’s probably a favor for her because some other people might use the FHM pictures against her someday (oh wait they already did).

As for one commenter wondering whether or not what Maggie Wilson did is ok, posing for FHM in their March 2009 issue, I think it is, first because it’s already post-Bb. Pilipinas and second because Maggie has done a lot of other things since her Bb. Pilipinas days, and she has always been the adventurous one to try daring things.

But with Sandra Seifert, who knew that some random girl wearing a sexy lingerie posing for an adult magazine would compete for the Bb. Pilipinas someday? That’s how they see it.
