No one predicted that Pops Fernandez, after a failed relationship with Martin Nievera and boyfriend Brad Turvey, would come back to entertainment industry to once again prove that she still has the talent to sing despite her age and what she experienced.

Pops has finally come home after few years of rest. She is still with actor Jomari Yllana, Aiko Melendez’s former husband. The two stays strongly together for years now, and people can say that they are both happy with each other.

When Pops came back to ABS-CBN’s ASAP, she toughly tried to ignore rumors about her past. Many said that she wouldn’t make it this time around. There are already a lot of young and talented singers, who would and could beat her, but Pops just did what her job requires her to do, and silence is at part of it.

Pops was a part of a successful major concert held on the first week of December. This concert was with the Asia’s Song Bird Regine Velasquez, Zsa-Zsa Padilla and Kuh Ledesma. Perhaps, Pops didn’t imagine at first that she could be one of these four who would do a major concert, considering the fact that she has just come from a long vacation and down line in show business. Some did question her and even the producers who got her for the concert named Divas for Divas.

Through this astounding come back of Pops Fernandez, she is proving to us that she is still indeed the Philippine’s Concert Queen, and no new artist can grab that title from her. Coming home to a career that she has grown with is such a good sign that Pops Fernandez is ready for another set of big challenges in her job as a TV personality.
