Lately this month, the Gutierrez family experienced a life’s trial when the heads of the family namely Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama, both from the showbiz industry suffered from a serious ailment related to heart’s normal function. Ruffa’s daddy was the first one who had an operation. It was soon followed by Annabelle Rama’s (Ruffa’s mother) heart operation. This breaking news was every tabloid’s headline for three consecutive weeks. It was mentioned in the news that Ruffa’s younger brother and GMA 7’s most popular young star, for his parents’ hospital bills.

People couldn’t do anything but to create little rumors why Ruffa refused to help her parents. The former issue about Ruffa’s being a gold digger was revived. If we remember it well, Ruffa got married with a rich businessman in Turkey whose name is Ylmas Vektas. She had two daughters with this man, obtained wealth more than what she had in the Philippines and became a queen herself. But her marriage with Ylmas didn’t last. When they got separated, the public almost believed that Ruffa’s intention of marrying that man was only for the money.

Of course, Ruffa denied her being gold digger and for holding money back even if it is for her parents’ lives. As far as her former statements are concerned, Ruffa is currently receiving approximately fifty thousand dollars a month from Ylmas Vektas and a jewelry business from Ylmas family. Not to mention in this issue are her compensation and other financial benefits from her showbiz career.
Ruffa’s outer beauty seems to be unappreciated little by little by the public because of her love for money rather than sincere care for her family and her fans.
