After Jennylyn’s separation from Patrick, she decided to take care of their child independently. Jennylyn is firm on her decision that Patrick, no matter how capable he is, can no longer make any attachment or give support to the two of them, especially to their son. We cannot blame Jennylyn for having such kind of decision. Obviously, she is still hurting for what Patrick did to her, and she said that it’s not that simple to befriend someone who has caused you too much pain.

Jennylyn does not allow Patrick to see their son unless she permits, and when she’s out of the country. She’s also planning a big event in her child’s life, that is the baby’s christening. Jennylyn stays tough on reminding Patrick that he is not invited to the said occasion. Since Patrick was not really a man to Jen and a father to his son, there’s totally no reason for him to be there on his son’s christening.

It’s just Jennylyn and her son, plus all the people who have carried them from trouble, minus Patrick Garcia. It’s becoming a normal yet comfortable way of raising her child. After all, she has already done and given too much for her son even before she has given birth to the child. We can remember that Jen even posed nude when she was still eight month pregnant to show to people that she’s proud of being a mother to her child, something that Patrick couldn’t do. Jen claimed that she’s willing to give everything to her child as a single parent.
