The controversial new couple EB Babe Lian Paz and TV show host Paolo Contis accidentally disclose on Showbiz Central last January 18 that they are already engaged.

Just recently, they were still denying any formal relationship they have going on between them, especially since it had not been that long when Paolo Contis broke up with her 3-year girlfriend Isabel Oli. Only a few days after their denial, Lian Paz was caught again in an interview and was then sporting a diamond ring and when asked what kind of relationship she now has with Paolo Contis, she just flashed her diamond ring.

While it’s true sometimes that the compatibility of two people does not solely depend on the years they have been together, in this case it’s still very shocking and a little bit suspicious.

On the show it was also found out that the families of both parties were not even aware yet of the engagement.

Showbiz Central also asked Lian Paz how Paolo Contis proposed to her. She amusingly quotes Paolo, “Marry me, babe.”

Well, I must say, nothing says true love more than calling your girlfriend “babe” when you’re proposing. I know Filipinos are now becoming less and less traditional when it comes to proposal, but it still creeps the hell out of me when I heard that they have only been going out a few weeks before the marry-me-babe incident.
