Pinoy showbiz has grown so fast to the point that I’m not really aware of the new stars springing in this industry. Well, not all of course, there are some who really catch some of my attention. One of the rising stars in ABS-CBN that’s really gathering a lot of viewers is Erich Gonzales. I’m sure if you’re “maka-dos”, you are pretty much familiar about this Star Circle Quest’s Grand Questor in 2004, right? You know what’s surprising about this girl? Well, unlike other showbiz stars who rise to stardom but shrunk after a few years of projects, Erich is consistently getting projects for six consecutive years now. Here’s a good pitch for Erich fans, she’s going to have the lead role of the remake of Maria la del Barrio, a famous Mexican telenovela. Well, this sets a record for Erich as this Filipino version show will be aired next year. Now that’s up to seven years of popularity – without fail!
